Rosanne Pugliese began her foray into jewelry while in the midst of a different type of design—clothing. While designing for Calvin Klein, she developed an eye and taste for luxurious, sensuous materials that she worked into
modern and
sculptural forms. As she began her first jewelry collection, she channeled this developing aesthetic into her pieces—22 karat rich yellow gold is worked by hand to create her signature earthy, raw, classically elegant pieces, which often incorporate carefully chosen gemstones. Her colored stones are perfectly saturated and unique in hue, and collaborate effortlessly with her signature shade of yellow gold.

Each piece is deliciously light and sophisticated, while still exuding an earthiness that is seldom seen in other designer’s work.
Rosanne’s jewelry is the epitome of downtown New York elegance, and a delight to wear.

Rosanne herself came in to Peridot for a trunk show this past Saturday, and the combination of the lovely, sunny, crisp fall day with her own quiet elegance and the freshness of her jewelry was a surefire success. Clients came in and were immediately enamored of her delicate drop earrings, edgy gold and gemstone necklaces, and show-stopping statement rings. We couldn’t even begin to pick our favorites—although we all drooled over an absolutely adorable pair of light emerald studs that were snatched up almost immediately.
Rosanne’s pieces are wonderful to wear on their own or layered with each other—and each is sure to tell a story. They are unique and wonderfully feminine, while still maintaining an incredibly clean, sculptural, and modern look. We are HUGE fans.
