Peridot Style: Putting It All Together for Fall

If your BFF isn't the jewelry editor for your favorite fashion 'zine, giving you the heads up on new designers and seasonal product as it rolls through the halls of Hearst on the daily, then Team Peridot is here  to "daylight" as your most fashionable friend.  And every girl needs a gal pal like that. [caption id="attachment_740" align="alignnone" width="1024"]YA Trends #StackIsTheNewBlack Margery Hirschey Yasuko Azuma[/caption] Above: Margery Hirschey Rectangular Zircon Organic Bezel NecklaceYasuko Azuma Black Diamond Hammered Bezel Pear Shaped Ring, and Yasuko Azuma Light Orange Natural Diamond Ring  We have done the diligence to read every editorial, every blog post, and every market forecast, in order to curate an uncommon collection of jewelry that's on trend for Fall.  This is the antithesis of the editorial "magazine" approach to "trend" jewelry.  We are on the hunt for pieces that are fashionably relevant now and forever. Sometimes translating current trends means layering in a new piece to the necklaces you already wear everyday, and sometimes it's about adding natural diamonds to stack in with your traditional bridal set.  And yes, sometimes it's even a whole new statement earring or long, faceted strand of fine stone. The right shade of nail lacquer (pictured earlier: Essie's "Picked Perfect") is as much a staple this September as leather fringe, cozy wrap sweaters, and vintage designer chain link purses.  We're also seeing a huge pick up in pearls, whether on handmade gold ear wires or more casual cord necks. Designer Spotlight: Brooke Gregson

Guys--we are SO excited about our newest, beyond fabulous designer: straight from London (drum roll please)...BROOKE GREGSON!

5245193195_e3b6837ec2

Born and bred in Los Angeles and currently working out of her Notting Hill studio, Brooke Gregson has been making organic and refreshingly modern jewelry since 2004. Her fascination with Astronomy is reflected in her precious, luminescent gemstones surrounded by pave diamond halos. Her recently introduced “Silk Woven” bracelets and necklaces—fine metal chain enveloped in hand woven silk combined with beautiful semi-precious stones and diamonds—can be worn together or on their own, and are as unique as they are striking. Z_SilkWDiaLabradorite-Bracelet Brooke’s jewelry is fresh and an absolute delight to wear—true statement pieces that you will never want to take off. Not only that, you really want to see all her pieces together to really get the full effect. Her gorgeous pieces have been pictured on the likes of my new best friends Jennifer Lawrence and Helena Christensen, among others, and have graced the glossy pages of Vogue and Elle Magazine.
