SARAH MACFADDEN
Sarah Macfadden has been handcrafting her jewelry for over 20 years in her studio in New York City. Born and raised in Montana, her work is very much inspired by the nature she was surrounded by. She utilizes the raw beauty of gold and sterling silver, forging the metals into organically shaped interconnected links. She carefully designs her pieces so they can be worn on their own, or layered with one another, thoughtfully combining different shapes, sizes, and metals. Each piece is hand-formed and hand-soldered, creating varying shapes with textured details. Each piece is truly one of a kind.
“The process of making perpetuates itself. Any idea would lead to another. The chains I’m making now have fragments of different kinds of links that I’ve made over time”
