What is a Special Order/Custom Jewelry:

You may see something on our website that is not currently in our inventory, or you may want something from one of our vendors that we don’t have. We can always check on availability and current pricing so we can order this piece for you. Peridot is also happy to work with you on creating a one of a kind or custom piece.

What's the procedure for ordering custom pieces and special orders?

First, call or come in to speak with us. You and one of our experienced sales team members will discuss exact details of the existing or custom piece you would like to order. Once all design details are reviewed and approved. We require a 50% deposit of the final cost to place the order.

How long does a special order take?

We generally ask you to expect 2-10 weeks for special orders. The timing varies by designer. However, depending on the item, this can sometimes be a much quicker process. If our designer has the piece in her studio in stock, we can have the piece in a few days.

Can I return a Special Order?

Unfortunately we do not allow returns on Special Orders. We are confident after the complete design and review process on your special order you will be most satisfied with the end result!

What is I want to purchase a piece by one of your designer’s but I don’t see it on your website?

Generally we can order most of our designer’s “classic” pieces for you. If the piece is a “one of a kind” item. In that case, we will happily work with the designer to find a very similar stone to the one you had selected.

REPAIRS:

What is your repair procedure?

We are experts with repair procedures at Peridot, and we work regularly with our designers and our fine jeweler to make sure all repairs are properly taken care of. Repairs are sent either to the original designer of the piece or to our master jeweler in NYC, and prices are quoted to you when we receive them. If you approve the cost, we will give the go ahead!

How long is the turn-around?

Repairs generally take 4-6 weeks and sometimes as long as 8 if shipping a designer across the country. If you need a piece quickly, please let us know. We are happy to see what we can do!

How do I pay for the repair?

You pay for the repair upon pick up of, and satisfaction with, your piece. We are happy to take payment info over the phone and ship to you if you aren’t local.

LAYAWAYS + CONSIGNMENT:

Can I put an item on layaway or consign an item?

Regrettably we do not offer layaways or send items on consignment at this time.
